Free 52 Personal Project - Clickaway 2019
The Free 52 Project is a personal project that I am thrilled to be a part of! Each month we share our freelensed work. Freelensing is a technique that manipulates the focal plane by photographing with the lens detached from the camera body and subtly adjusting/tilting the lens while detached. To follow along, please click the link below for the next artist. This month, the next artist is Sonia . This month I attended my first photography conference! It was an incredible experience to be in community with so many other talented women sharing the same passion. I soaked in as much as I could from my workshops and it was truly an honor to learn from and shoot alongside such talented photographers. Twyla Jones in particular was one of my favorites to learn from. There was such an ease about her that seemed to translate to the clients and the students. I was so inspired by her outdoor class especially and I freelensed nearly the entire time. Here are some of my favorites!
