The Free 52 Personal Project - May

The Free 52 Project is a personal project that I am thrilled to be a part of! Each month we share our freelensed work.  Freelensing is a technique that manipulates the focal plane by photographing with the lens detached from the camera body and subtly adjusting/tilting the lens while detached. To follow along, please click the link at the end of this post for the next artist. This month, the next artist is the very talented Diana Hagues.

Yay!!! It's May!! And after such a long winter we are spending more time outside watching all the buds turn to leaves and the flowers bloom. This month I am sharing some freelensing from around our yard.

Our new swing. As an after thought ... maybe we should have gotten two. It is fiercely sought after.

The big bubble maker ... also a new addition this year.

For Mother's Day I always try to get a portrait with my girls, and the family. It's ALWAYS a struggle. This year I tried freelensing it.

Frog hunting.

Finally some flowers!!

Bubble gun. Too bad it broke after the first use.

more reverse freelensing

Head on over to Diana's page to see some more!!
