Freelensing 35mm

We found the perfect swimming hole this weekend! And what a great way to celebrate Father's Day!! While we were here, I tried freelensing with a 35mm and thought I'd share some of my thoughts. I LOVE the wider angle! And that is the only plus I can say over my go-to 50mm. The 35mm was much heavier and awkward to hold. Also, it is much more expensive which made me very nervous taking it out into the water. I also noticed some heavy vignetting (maybe there is another term for this??) around the edges of the image, which does not happen as much for me when using my 50mm. All in all, I think I will likely use the 35mm from time to time for the wider angle, but my 50mm is still my favorite!
