Alana and the Apple Tree

Dropping off Alana today, nearing the end of the school year, I was struck by the bareness of the walls. Kindergarden is coming to an end for her, and I am so very proud of how much she has grown this year. Just yesterday she climbed this tree all on her own, something she had always asked for help with in the past. And of course, does it with her own style! It is inspiring to watch her overcome her fears and take those first awkward steps. I continue to learn so much from her, and watching both my girls grow. I am feeling thankful today, and wishing I could slow down time.
